Criteria

 Qualifying Criteria

  • Entry application submitted by 10 September 2010
  • Headquartered in Europe
  • Independent and private companies
  • Active in Cleantech in its wider definition (consulting, through to energy generation, materials, waste etc)
  • Both revenue generating and pre-revenue companies

We are looking at both revenue generating companies, and companies pre revenue. The aim is to produce two lists, one based on revenue growth, and one for the up and coming ‘the ones to watch'.

To qualify for the Revenue based league table:

  • Revenues in 2007 (full or part year)
  • Companies will be ranked by their annual revenue growth rate between the three most recent financial years (2007-2009)

Awards

All entries will be evaluated by an independent judging panel comprising Cleantech professionals, industry experts and investors. The judges will invite a shortlist of companies, who in their opinion have the most exceptional potential, and ask them to present to them at a London location.

In total, we are giving our awards in the following five categories:

  • Fastest Growing Cleantech Company
  • Uniqueness of Offering
  • Vision & Future Growth Potential
  • Best Management
  • Best Execution

Revenues

Cleantech 2010 will compare the revenue growth over the 3 most recent years, looking at the financial years ending 2007-2009. If your financial year is not aligned with the calendar year, please state the period your financial year covers. Revenue figures should be the company's audited figures or management accounts where applicable. The revenue figures will not be published. Please fill in the revenue details for the years 2007 and 2009 only.
